Overview of Research Achievements (as of March, 2024)

Over the past five years, GXU School of Public Policy and Management has led 26 national fund projects, including 4 key projects from the National Social Science Fund (NSSF), 14 NSSF general projects , and 8 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC). We have also undertaken 31 provincial and ministerial-level projects and 144 additional projects, with total research funding amounting to 20.7302815 million RMB. We have published over 30 academic monographs with prestigious national publishers such as People's Publishing House (China), China Social Sciences Press, Sciences Literature Press, and Intellectual Property Publishing House (China). Our faculty has published 809 academic papers in Chinese, including 203 in CSSCI-indexed journals and 224 in Peking University core journals. Notably, more than 10 papers have been published in top-tier journals such as Social Sciences in China, Management World, Chinese Public Administration, Sociological Studies, and Social Sciences in China (Internal Manuscripts), with over 20 papers reprinted by Xinhua Digest, Chinese Social Sciences Digest, and Reproduced Materials by People’s University. We have also published over 60 high-impact SSCI/SCI papers, with more than 40 appearing in Q1 journals. Professor Long Hualou, a Distinguished Changjiang Scholar, has been named an Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Scholar for eight consecutive years (2015-2022) and a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for four consecutive years (2019-2022). Additionally, the research team led by Professor Nie Xin and Associate Professor Wang Han has produced a series of high-quality, original research findings published in Q1 journals like Journal of Industrial Ecology and Land Use Policy. Since 2018, the School has received 17 provincial and ministerial awards for outstanding social science research, including the Guangxi Social Science Research Excellence Award. Among these, we have secured 3 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 14 third prizes.
